Questions about Winterizations? We might be able to answer those... Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page below to see if your question has been answered. If not, feel free to send an email to support@Rain1.com with your question.
Q: Can I Winterize my system myself? A: Not unless you have a high level of technical skill and a large air compressor.
Q: How much do you charge? A: We charge $60 plus 75ยข per station. For example, if your system had 9 stations, the total charge would be $66.75.
Q: Is this a good time to get repairs done? A: Because our techs our very busy this time of year, it is better to have repairs scheduled before October 1st if possible. Otherwise, we can give attention to the issue at a later time.
Q: How long does it take to Winterize my system? A: That varies based on the size of the system and if there are any repairs that must be done in order to Winterize the system properly. Please give yourself plenty of time in case we need to do additional work.
Q: Does anyone need to be home during the Winterization? A: Yes, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Q: I would like to get my lawn aerated. When do you do that? A: Our technicians will flag your heads during the Winterization. A separate technician will arrive in the next few days to do the aeration and remove the flags.
Q: How much does it cost to have my lawn aerated? A: We charge by square footage. Most residential lots fall into our minimum size of 7,000 square feet and that is $70. Each additional 1,000 square feet is $5. If you're unsure of your lot size, we will measure it during the service.
Q: Do you give discounts for this service? A: Yes, we do, if you prepay for the year. We have three packages to choose from to best suit your needs. You can review them by clicking here.
